Instant rava appam

Ingredients:
  1.  Semolina (suji): ½ cup,
  2.  Curd: ½ cup,
  3.  Salt: ½ teaspoon or to taste,
  4.  Baking powder: ¾ teaspoon,
  5.  Oil: 2 tablespoon,    
  6.  Green peas: ¼ cup,
  7.  Green chilli: 1 finely chopped,
  8.  Mustard seeds: ¼ teaspoon,
  9.  Curry leaves: 7-8 leaves (finely chopped).    
         
Method:

Step 1: Take a big bowl, add semolina, curd and salt in it and mix it well.
Step 2: Now add green peas and green chilli in batter and mix it well. If batter is too thick add little water in it and mix it. Cover the batter and rest it for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3: Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves it it and saute for a while. And add it into batter and mix well.
Step 4: Now, add baking soda in it and mix it gently.
Step 5: Pre-heat appam mould and apply oil on mould.
Step 6: Pour batter in mould. Cover mould with lid and cook it for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on low flame. Now, turn the side and again cook it for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on low flame.
Instant rava appam are ready to serve. Transfer instant rava appam in a serving plate or bowl and serve hot.
Serve instant rava appam with any dip or chutney of your choice.
