Vinegar onion (sirke wale pyaz)

Ingredients:
  1.  Onion(small): 15-20,                                    
  2.  Salt: 2 tspn,
  3.  Sugar: 2 tspn,
  4.  Vinegar: ¼ cup,
  5.  Water: 1 cup,
  6.  Black pepper: 1 tspn,
  7.  beetroot: 3-4 slices (around 1 inch each), 
  8.  Cinnamon stick: 2-3, 
  9.  Cloves: 4-5. 
 Method:

Step 1: Peel off onion, wash them and cut onions (cross cut but not completely). As shown in picture: ➨     



Step 2: Transfer all onions in a glass bowl or container.
Step 3: Put a pan on flame and add water, sugar, salt, black pepper, beetroot, cinnamon, cloves in it and boil it. After boil turn off the flame and allow it to cool. 
Step 4: Add vinegar in onion bowl or container. Then add beetroot water(step 3) in onion bowl or container. Cover container with lid and keep it overnight. Store it in fridge. Next day vinegar onions will be ready to serve.                                      


On next day they will turn into red color. Vinegar onions are very easy to make and tastes really very good. You can have it with any meal.
