Paneer corn grill sandwich
Ingredients:
- Paneer(cottage cheese): 1 cup(finely chopped),
- Capsicum: 1 (finely chopped),
- Onion: 1 (finely chopped),
- Tomato: 1 (finely chopped),
- Corn: ½ cup (boiled),
- Chat masala: ½ tspn,
- Amchur(dry mango powder): ½ tspn,
- Black pepper powder: ¼ tspn,
- Salt: ½ tspn (or to taste),
- Chilli flakes: ½ tspn,
- Oregano: 1 teaspoon,
- Mayo: 2 teaspoon,
- Oil: 1 teaspoon,
- Bread slices: 8 pieces.
Method:
Step 1:(preparing filling) Heat a pan on flame and add 1 spoon oil in it. Add onion, tomato and cook it for about 4-5 minutes or until onion becomes golden brown. Now add capsicum and cook it for 1 minute then add chat masala, amchur, black pepper powder, salt, chilli flakes and oregano and cook it for 2-3 minutes. At the end, add boiled corn and paneer in it and again cook it for about 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame and add mayo in it and mix it well.
step 2: Take a bread slice, apply tomato sauce on one side of bread and then apply this mixture on it and cover it with another slice. Apply butter on the outer sides of the bread. Do same with other bread slices.
step 3: Place the sandwich on sandwich maker and grill till both sides are golden.
step 4: Take out the sandwich cut it in triangle shape and serve hot.
You can have sandwich with tomato sauce , green chutney or dip of your choice.
Prefer homemade paneer (cottage cheese).
