Moong dal halwa

Ingredients:
  1.  Moong dal: ½ cup (soaked for 2 hours),              
  2.  Condensed milk: 1 cup,
  3.  Ghee: ½ cup,
  4.  Cashews nuts: 10-15 (finely chopped),
  5.  Almonds: 10-15 (finely chopped),
  6.  Pistachios: 1 tbsp (finely chopped),
  7.  Green cardamom: 3-5 (stone grind),
  8.  Water: 1.5 cups.
Method:

Step 1: Grind the soaked moong dal into little course paste without adding water.
Step 2: Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add dal in it. Now stir continuously until it becomes golden brown in color. keep the flame low to medium.
Step 3: Then add water in it, stir it. Add condensed milk and stir it properly. Keep the flame low. 
Step 4: When dal puffs up and turns fragrant(take about 3-5 minutes), add dry fruits and cardamom and stir it so that everything mixes properly(about 2-3 minutes). Now halwa has turned dense and thick consistency. Halwa is ready turn off the flame.
Step 5: Transfer halwa in plates and garnish with dry fruits and ghee (ghee is optional but tastes really very good).
Tips: Keep all ingredients around you, you need so that halwa doesn't stick. Stirring continuously is very important.
Add dal in ghee very carefully.

Moong dal halwa is very good in taste and very easy to make you just need to follow these steps carefully.
