Onion & potato pakora:
Ingredients:
- Onion: 3 (sliced),
- Potato: 3 (sliced),
- Green chilli: 2 finely chopped,
- Gram flour (besan): 1 cup,
- Chat masala: ½ teaspoon,
- Amchur (dry mango powder): ½ teaspoon,
- Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon,
- Black pepper powder: ¼ teaspoon,
- Salt: ½ teaspoon or to taste,
- Oil: to fry.
Method:
Step 1: Take a big bowl, add onion, potatoes, green chilli, chat masala, red chilli powder, salt, amchur, black pepper powder and gram flour and mix it. Add little water in it to make thick mixture.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan. Fry pakoras on low flame till golden brown.
Step 3: Take out pakoras in a plate and sprinkle chat masala and serve with sauce or chutney.
Pakoras are very easy to make and tastes really very good.
To make pakoras crispy better to fry them on low flame.
There are various types of pakoras like bread pakoras, stuffed bread pakoras, paneer pakoras, gobi pakoras, green chilli pakoras and many more. Soon I will add more recipes of various pakoras.
